Laker Catholic
For the Catholic Campus Ministry of Grand Valley State University, I had the privilege of designing their first-ever annual t-shirt, which reflects their mission to lead college students closer to Christ through faith, fellowship, and friendship. The t-shirt features two distinctive design elements: one on the front and one on the back. The front design showcases a line-work depiction of St. Luke's University Parish's priest holding the monstrance, with the text "LAKER CATHOLIC 2024-2025" surrounding it. This representation symbolizes the central role of the Eucharist in the faith community. The back design is deeply rooted in Catholic teaching, specifically focusing on the true presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. It features a more detailed illustration of the monstrance holding the Eucharist, with surrounding text from John 6:22-71 — a passage where Jesus declares Himself as the "Bread of Life" and calls believers to partake in His body for eternal life. This design aims to not only highlight the rich tradition of the Catholic faith but also emphasize the profound belief in the Eucharist as the source of spiritual nourishment and salvation.
